SIPA students reach out to Trump

During the Presidential inauguration, a group of student organizations from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs –SIPA– released a joint letter to Donald J. Trump, the now 45th president of the United States.

The letter –signed by Latin America Students Association, Gender Policy Working Group, Human Rights Working Group, Migration Working Group, SIPA Students of Color and Spectrum–, stands for unity “to uphold justice, to preserve dignity, and to advocate for non-discrimination”. Students from these organizations called upon the Trump-Pence Administration “to govern for all, with the diligence to respect all minorities and recognize the Civil and Human Rights of all individuals”.
